Lightly sweet and minty with a clean finish. This version of a classic mint julep doesn’t need fresh mint in the recipe, which means you can forgo double straining and reserve all those pretty leaves for garnish instead. Easy to make and easy to sip on a warm southern day.
2 oz Bourbon
.5 oz Rich Simple Syrup (2:1)
4 dashes Remedy Cocktail Company Julep Bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled and strain into glass packed with crushed or pebble ice. Pack with more ice if needed and garnish with sprig of mint.
