This cocktail strikes a delicious balance between a sweet fruity concoction and a tart bitter negroni. The addition of black walnut bitters adds a little more complexity and depth to the flavor but it would be equally delicious with a more standard orange bitters.
1.5 oz Gin
1 oz Real Blackberry Puree Syrup
.75 oz Aperol
.5 oz Lemon Juice
.25 oz Elderflower Liqueur
1 dash Remedy Cocktail Company Black Walnut Bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled. Serve up in a chilled cocktail glass or over a large cube in a double rocks glass. Garnish with lemon twist and fresh blackberries.
